78. Primetime Emmy Awards: Die Creative Emmy-Gewinner

Noch vor der großen Emmy-Verleihung werden in Los Angeles an diesem Wochenende zahlreiche Preise für die kreativen und technischen Leistungen der vergangenen Fernsehsaison vergeben. Die 78. Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards finden am Samstag, 5. September, und Sonntag, 6. September 2026, im Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles statt.

In der ersten Nacht der Creative Arts Emmy Awards dominierte die Halbzeitshow des Super Bowl LX von Bad Bunny. Die auf NBC ausgestrahlte Produktion wurde mit insgesamt sieben Preisen ausgezeichnet, darunter als bestes live übertragenes Variety-Special sowie für Regie, Musik, Choreografie, Licht, Ton und Kameratechnik. Sechs Emmys gingen an die Peacock-Produktion «The Traitors». Neben mehreren technischen Kategorien setzte sich Alan Cumming zum dritten Mal in Folge als bester Moderator einer Reality- oder Reality-Wettbewerbssendung durch.

«The Late Show with Stephen Colbert» verabschiedete sich mit fünf Auszeichnungen, während «The Muppet Show» vier Preise erhielt. «Love on the Spectrum» gewann drei Emmys. Mariska Hargitays «My Mom Jayne: A Film by Mariska Hargitay» wurde als beste Dokumentation ausgezeichnet; Hargitay erhielt darüber hinaus den Regiepreis. Als beste Doku-Serie setzte sich die Apple-TV-Produktion «Mr. Scorsese» durch. Octavia Spencer wurde für «Lost Women of Alaska» als beste Erzählerin geehrt.
